Arise & Shine: The Light Has Come!

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1

There comes a time in life when God calls us higher. A moment when the excuses, the delays, the doubts, and the fears have to bow because His voice is breaking through the noise.

This is that moment.

God is speaking—not in a whisper, not in a suggestion, but in a command: Arise. Shine.

This is not just a feel-good word; this is a charge. A divine awakening. A call to step out of what has been and into what is now.

We have been asleep in places where we were meant to walk boldly. We have been standing still in areas where we were meant to run. We have been living in shadows when we were called to shine. But the time of being bound by yesterday is over.

The light is here. And you must respond.

There is a spiritual slumber that keeps people bound—moving but not progressing, breathing but not living, existing but not thriving. And this slumber is sneaky. It disguises itself as procrastination, as self-doubt, as waiting on the "right time.” But in reality, it is a trap designed to keep you from ever stepping into the fullness of who you are.

But God is saying today, “Get up.”

Get up out of that pit of disappointment.

Get up out of the weight of failure.

Get up from that mindset that tells you you’re not enough.

Get up from the sin that’s been pulling you away.

Get up from the routine that has drained your joy.

This is your moment of awakening.

Because when God says arise, He is not asking you—He is commanding you. Heaven is waiting on your response.

The scripture doesn’t just say “arise.” It says arise and shine. That means the rising is only part one. After you get up, there is a light that must break forth from you.

But what is this light?

This is not just any light—it is a transforming light. It is the light of Christ that exposes, purifies, and directs. It is the light that burns away everything that is not like Him. It is the fire that refines, the presence that changes everything it touches.

And here’s what God wants you to know: You cannot stay the same in this light.

You will not walk the same.

You will not think the same.

You will not love the same.

You will not fear the same.

When His light comes, it reveals every area of our lives where we have settled. It calls us higher. It shows us the blueprint for transformation. It calls us into who we were created to be.

God is not just calling you to exist. He is calling you to become.

To become the woman or man He destined you to be.

To become a vessel that carries His presence.

To become the warrior that fights through fear.

To become the testimony that others will look at and say, “Only God could have done that.”

Now, here is the part that will break you wide open if you let it—His glory is rising upon you.

Think about that for a second. The glory of the Lord. Not just His presence. Not just His blessings. But His very glory.

The same glory that parted the Red Sea.

The same glory that raised Jesus from the dead.

The same glory that turned mourning into dancing, ashes into beauty, and fear into faith.

That glory is rising on you.

This is not something to take lightly. This is not something to brush past. This is an honor. The King of Kings has chosen to let His glory rest on you, to shine through you, to carry you forward.

That means no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

That means He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

That means you are covered, you are held, and you are seen.

No More Delays. No More Excuses. No More Fear.

God is speaking, and the only right response is yes.

Yes, to getting up.

Yes, to transformation.

Yes, to walking in His glory.

Because the truth is—you cannot stay here. This place is too small for what God is doing in your life. The fear that has held you back has expired. The chains that once bound you are breaking.

So stand up. Step forward. The light has come. And it’s waiting on you to walk in it.

No more waiting. No more hesitation. No more staying stuck.

The next move is yours.

Will you arise?
